Interviews / Products / Projects / Inside Georgina Jeffries’s Tranquil Home in Lorne
Lorne House is infused with a sophisticated understanding of location, material, and practicality. Located in Lorne VIC, Georgina Jeffries’s home explores the emotional capacity of design, and how it can enhance liveability.
Georgina Jeffries walks us through her inspirations and discusses the importance of window coverings in a space.
“The inspiration behind the house was most importantly to create a family home that met all our needs without losing any of the original charm that we fell in love with when we purchased the property in 2015. Window treatments are so incredibly important in dressing a space; sometimes I feel it’s very apparent that a window is naked until it has been dressed. They not only deliver their physical requirements of controlling light and temperature but they also add drama and mood to a space.”
